Studio Time!!!

The artist of the music program I attend (Music with Mar) asked me to come to the studio to help lay down some new songs for her upcoming album. I was a nervous wreck and actually had a queazy tummy before we got there. I had practiced a few times a day for the last few weeks. As soon as I got the headphones I went into a different world. I loved hearing the music and my voice in my ears.

I made sure that I shared with the production guy (Mr. Mark) my “Rawr! Dinosaur on a bike!” song. Someday I will record it! I hope!

Getting ready to rock it out! He was SO happy!

Several other kids came to sing as well. We had a fun time. Here I am singing my line in one of the songs.

I will post a link once the album is up for sale!

Breighton really enjoyed studio time with Ms. Mar! The way he lit up with the headphones on was a major joy today!

Here comes the SNOW

The day after we picked up Uncle Matt at the airport it started to snow.

DSCN0353

Mommy took Emmerson and me outside to try to catch snowflakes on our tongues.

SNOWFLAKES!

A few hours later everything was covered in white.

Mommy wrote a note to me on the driveway.

The next morning Mommy and Uncle Matt took me to the sled hill for a few trips down.

DSCN0370

Weeeee.

Nothing beats a kid and his sled.

Nothing beats a boy and a sled!

I wanted to make snowmen since the snow was perfect for it. This is Emmerson-Snowman.

Uncle Matt helped me finish the tall one up.

I was so proud. After the snow melted away the remaining snowballs lasted for a few extra days. It was neat to see them when we drove through town.

I even made a few snow angles.

Later in the day I made a mini-snowman on the front porch. I decorated him later with sticks and even gave him a little scar of his forehead. Eventually it warmed up and fell over face first onto the porch.

This snow is crazy!

4H Garden Update

Spring is obviously here in Florida. My yellow squash are getting huge.

They are taking up a ton of the garden space.

Animal Babies at Mill Creek Farm

We wrapped up our wonderful vacation with a trip to Mill Creek Farm for the Animal Baby open house.

They had babies of nearly every farm animal except horses!

DSCN0437

We played on all the tractors.

Stuck our heads in all the holes.

Stuck our arms and fingers in every cage possible.

We even managed to get through the crowds to touch some of the animals they had out of their cages.

Hay! Hay is for horses not for little boys and girls!

We ha d grand time in Ohio even if the weather was kind of unpredictable. I wish we got pictures of Grandma Susie or Great Granny. I can’t wait to go back up for the 4th of July.

DSCN0413

We took a short tour of the under works of the inclines. It was very cool to see all the huge wheels and motors that drive the incline.

We poked around town for a while and ended at the Phipps Conservatory. We opted not to pay to go in because it was too close to when we had to take Matt to the airport.

We ran around in the public gardens and peeked in all the windows we could.

I really liked the statue of Christopher Columbus.

Lost in wonder about Christopher Columbus.

I had a great time with Uncle Matt. I am glad he got to come visit in Ohio.
