So I am absolutely loving my new kitten. She is helping me to be more gentle and empathetic. I have finally opted on a more suiting name. If you remember my first choice was “spot-Stripey-Bite-ee”. Now she is formally known in the house as “Lightning”!
She still sleeps in my bed at night with me. She tends to curl up right behind my back and keep me warm. If I wiggle too much in my sleep she goes to the end of the bed and sleeps in a cat bed I made for her.
When Mommy and Daddy came in to take a picture she woke up. Silly kitty!
