Today I went over to Granny & Grandpa Reed’s house for a little birthday celebration with some family. I went swimming with Mommy & Daddy and played with all my toys. Granny got me a really cool Nemo cake. It had pretty toy fish and lots of BRIGHT colored icing. Publix (where the cake was from) also gave her a SMASH cake… and I did just that!

That’s ME in the blue… somewhere.

Yes, I even have cake in my HAIR.

Here is my finished work.

Mommy picked me up and took me DIRECTLY to the bathtub!

The water was warm and clear. I was BLUE!

Mommy washed every inch of blue off.

I passed inspection… ALL CLEAN!

But the TUB… BLUE!

Thanks Granny for tolerating my blue period in life.

Mommy and Daddy took me to Great Explorations. It is a place designed just for kids that has some really neat toys and fun things to learn. I saw a tennis ball fly all the way up to the ceiling. I got to point out fish. I even got to play in a special area just for little kids like me. They were opening a new Fire Station for kids that day so I got to see fire trucks and the fire-dog even licked my face. That was kind of scary because I have really only seen dogs in my books.

Afterwards Mommy and Daddy brought me home and I took a 3 hour nap. When I got up they dressed me in my swim clothes, loaded me in the car and took me to the beach. I had only been to the beach one time before and I was really little (Mommy said about 3 months old). I didn’t know what to think of the water rushing at my feet… but i got used to it. I finger walked over 1/4 mile to the pier and then back. It was really fun.

When we got home Daddy made me a cupcake.


Mommy helped blow out my candle.

One finger of frosting… I can refrain from gorging.

Maybe not…

I was happy. So were Mommy and Daddy.

Last weekend Mommy & Daddy bought me a new sandbox!!


They laughed at me because I know how to fill a cup with sand and DRINK the sand.


Mommy & Daddy were quick yo me rescue with a big glass of water. Mom said my diaper was gritty the next day.

Daddy tried to teach me to pour sand. I will get it someday.

So it has been a while since I posted anything. My life has been really busy. A few weeks ago I had a birthday party at Gymboree. I was very cranky because I was still getting over a bad stomach virus but I still had a fun time.

Lots of my friends and family came to share my special day. Mommy and Daddy didn’t take a lot of pictures because there was so much going on. Thank you everyone who came! 🙂
