Well it turns out that the car issues were caused by a tanker accidentally filling the diesel tank at the gas station with regular gasoline. What a nightmare this has been. We should get the car back next week. Mom and Dad drove by the station and saw the DOA person closing the pumps due to the contamination. This is going to cost that station (or their insurance) a pretty penny.
