Living Nativity

Tonight we went to New Port Richey to see a living nativity. I enjoyed the story and seeing all the animals. It was a recreation of the story of what happened in Bethlehem.

It was very cold but we tried our hardest to sit still and listen.

Their lighting wasn’t working too well and some of the scenes were in the dark. I enjoyed watching the story.

We also got to have cookies and hot cocoa in the church afterwards with one of Dad’s co-workers.

4H Demo and Robotics Projects

Today I gave my first demonstration of the yeah. I spoke about Coal Fired Power Plants (like the one we visited a few weeks ago where the manatees winter). I told everyone about the byproducts of the industry and also the dangers on our environment. I am very passionate about protecting our environment.

After my demo the club built can-can robots. They draw on paper using a vibration function of the motor. I was so excited when my design worked on the first try!

FLVS Fitness Class

I have been working hard in another FLVS class lately. I signed up for Middle School Fitness. I had to create a workout routine and then turn it into a multimedia production to turn in to the teacher.

I liked adding the warrior pose. Emmerson wanted to help me.

Crunches are good too!

I am learning a lot in my class. We have to run a timed mile each week and Mom said she dislikes this part the most. Not because of the actual running but because I really like to complain when I run! Yesterday when I ran my mile I was screaming “STOP ABUSING ME!!!” at the top of my lungs. Mom was terrified one of the neighbors would hear this and call the police. She kept saying encouraging things but I only found the run to be sheer torture. When I was done, I commented to her that it actually wasn’t bad. Mom said, “UGH!”
