The elves are back and they are up to their own naughty ways again. Last night they stole all the candy canes from the tree and hung them on the ceiling fans! UGH

We left Daddy at home for this noisy parade. We parked at the parking lot where our dry cleaners is and picked out our spot. In past years there haven’t been that many people but this year there were more than before. Hearing protection is a must because the motorcycles are LOUD.

Here they come! Over 1000 motorcycles in the parade.

As they pass by they toss our beads, candy and the occasional stuffed animal.

We had quite the load of goodies.

We had a lovely family trip to the botanical gardens. They always have such pretty holiday lights.

I fell in love with this trumpet tree.

I wanted my photo taken with every thing that lit up. Mom indulged me for a while.

I even took Emmerson up to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Sometimes I really love my little brother. Today was one of those days.

We had two piano recitals this week. The first we played Christmas music at Chick-Fil-A in Clearwater. The restaurant was really crowded but I stayed focused. At one point a little kid came up and was popping his head over the keyboard… that was ANNOYING… but I got through it.

Next we had our formal recitals at Music Gallery in Largo.

I played two songs on the fancy piano.

We went to a homeschool open skate today in Oldsmar. I have decided to give skating another try.

I was put in the group of kids who had skated before.

I did really well. I had a fun time ice skating and have decided to sign up for 10 weeks of lessons.
