Done pile…

So when I play with my toys now I like to put things in the “done pile”. I am actually doing much better about picking up toys and cleaning up my messes. That or Mommy is becoming more tolerant and allowing me to be a bit silly before I more on to something new. Maybe a little of both.

Today I made a “maze” out of my Sheep Game and then built a farmhouse for me and my word puzzles to hide in. Mommy thinks I am very creative but also very goofy!

Fired…

Mommy & Daddy are fired. Tonight we went to Target and got eggs and yogurt and came home. Mommy brought me right inside to play games and read books. Daddy followed immediately and we played until bath-time. After I got tucked into bed at 8 I head Mommy and Daddy talking and then race out to the car. It was too late… the groceries were all ruined. Bummer. Now Mommy needs to go back to the store of death (aka: grocery store 2 days prior to Thanksgiving!) and buy new eggs.

Opinionated Little Boy

Just over the last few days I have come up with a new favorite phrase. “I don’t like that, it’s yuckie!” This can refer to food, toys, books and even the way you look at me. Mommy tucked me into bed last night with one of my favorite books “Very Hungry Caterpillar” and I immediately threw it out of bed stating in a VERY firm voice “I DON’T LIKE THAT!” After 5 or 6 more books Mommy just gave up and walked out of my room, I think I drove her nuts?

Mommy pinned me down during my morning diaper change and checked for tooth progress. Apparently the point that was nearly through is all healed over again and I have a point almost through on the bottom of the left side too. So at least the teeth are keeping up with each other and with my normal teething ways. So by those standards the WORST of my teething should directly correspond with Christmas or the arrival of my baby brother! Poor Mommy & Daddy!

Christmas is here already?

This morning we went to the mall and I got my hair trimmed up for the holidays. It was getting all uneven and with my shaggy mop it was getting frizzy too. The lady trimmed a bit more than Mommy wanted off the back and I refused to sit still when she trimmed the front so it is a bit uneven. Oh well! It will grow out. Mommy said I won’t get another haircut for a few months anyway. Mommy didn’t get any pictures of the actual haircut process because I was having sure a rough time with the haircut. She did get these two of me ALL DONE and in the car with my balloon, and much happier!

With a LOVELY break in the weather Mommy & Daddy were feeling all Christmas-y. So after the mall we went to the storage unit and got the Christmas tree out as well as the baby car-seat and a few other things. We came home and while I took a nap Mommy & Daddy set up most of the Christmas tree. When I woke up I helped put the rest of the ornaments on the tree. I really enjoyed it!

A LOT!

I did manage to drive Mommy & Daddy nearly to drink today. I keep INSISTING that I “NEED” everything. “I need that!” “I need that toy to make me happy!” “I need a frontal lobotomy, PLEASE!” Mommy & Daddy have a running joke… they ask me if I want a frontal lobotomy and I ALWAYS insist that I YES indeed need one… NOW! It can make Mommy & Daddy way less stressed out when I am being cranky.

Here’s one of my “strike a pose” vogue pictures 🙂

And I’m sooooo waiting for Santa to come… Can’t you tell?

And, of course, Mommy and me!

Well, off to bed for me!

Ikea…

We went over to the new Ikea in Orlando and did a little shopping. I got a few new stuffed animals, some art toys and a few other random things. Mommy and Daddy bought new lamps for the living room ( I REALLY like them!), a new step stool for at Grandma Jo’s house and a few other fun grown-up things. It was a quick trip but that was fine with me. I wasn’t really in the mood for more than a QUICK trip. Thank goodness that tooth is nearly here!
