Our last evening in St. Andrews we spent in the tide pools collecting water samples to look at under the microscope.
Dad has the microscope hooked up to his computer so we can take photos of things we see. I will try to upload some of those photos in the future.
It was really neat to see life in the water. I found a cool barnacle in one of my samples.
Mom and I tended the campfire while E took his turn with the microscope.
The sky was RED at sunset. The photo doesn’t even capture how red it was.
I learned to tend the fire. I was really scared but Mom talked me through it. I was so proud of myself afterwards! I survived and didn’t get burned. I am asking to help with more things now that I am 11.
Tomorrow we head to St. John, New Brunswick.
