All Mom would do was shake her head!
Year: 2014
Celebration Station and Laser Tag
We picked up my buddy Lex and went to play some video games and laser tag. I tried Dance Dance Revolution.
I started to get the hang of it but decided I like racing games better.
We went in for 2 rounds of laser tag. Our team won both rounds because we knew some of the secret scoring spots.
After laser tag we went fishing with Lex. Only one tiny little fish was caught by Emmerson. Although Lex and I did catch quite a lot of seaweed and other non fish things.
Weeki Wachie Springs State Park
Mom is trying to ensure we get our moneys worth out of the new State Park pass. Today we met Grandma and Grandpa up in Spring Hill for exploring. We saw the wild peacocks.
The park was empty due to a drizzle rain so we got a hands up up close animal show.
We saw alligators, snakes, and a turtles.
We took a very wet boat ride up the river. We saw a mom and baby manatee heading for the springs to warm up.
We enjoyed a weird version of the Little Mermaid with the park mermaids.
I became a merman that was afraid of water!
Flowers and Shells
Lowes had a great deal on flowers so we bought a few more for the garden. The deal was that Emmerson and I had to do all the planting.
I really focused on picking the perfect spot for the plants.
I was interrupted in my planting by a call from my FLVS Fitness class teacher. I knocked that assignment out really quick so I could get back to planting.
In the afternoon we went to Honeymoon Island to go for a beach hike and shell collecting with friends.
We found lots of bivalves that were washed up in the tides.
We built a giant sand world.
We found lots of little critters in the tide pools and rocks.
Lowry Park Zoo with Grandma Susie
Today we went to the zoo with Mom and Grandma. It was rather cold out and we were afraid that the animals would be hiding. Surprisingly there were lots of animals out and about. The only thing hiding were our cold noses and fingers.
We enjoyed a near empty carousel.
A completely empty penguin exhibit.
The safari ride was fantastic as lots of animals were up and about because of feeding time.
We stopped by the meerkats for an extended visit.
Lunch time and tired kids means begging for junk food. No junk food.
Silly photos and lots of smiles.
I even got along with Emmerson all day!
Emmerson and I rode the tiger coaster TWENTY-FIVE times in a row!
We got turned upside down in the bat area.
What a great day and we were super glad that Grandma Susie was able to join us.
