We took a trip to Sarasota to check out the MOTE Aquarium before our reciprocal passes expire in a few weeks. They have an awesome aquarium. I loved the jelly fish and cuttle fish the most. Mommy had gotten stung by one of these the other day. It is called a sea nettle.
We took a ecological boat tour of the Sarasota waterways.
We saw bird rookeries.
We even saw dolphins and some manatees.
They dropped a drag net and brought in all sorts of sea life for us to look at.
They had holding tanks to put the critters in.
My favorites were the filefish and the….
PUFFER FISH!
