I wanted a loom band maker very badly. We bought one and have been spending a lot of time making fun bracelets.
I have been really concerned about pollution lately and I opted to create a club called “Defenders of Nature”. We meet once a month and help out the environment. This month we met at Phillipee Park in Safety Harbor and cleaned up the park from trash.
Lots of my pals came out.
We had fun hiking and cleaning.
When we were all done cleaning we showed off the funniest thing we found. We found shoes, pop bottles, cans, and someone even found underwear!!!
A great turnout for a great cause.
We have been taking lots of breaks and enjoying some more video games and playtimes with friends.
We even invited some friends to the Long Center with us while they were out on break from school.
We even found time to check off “Fly a Kite” from our holiday list! It was so windy out we were afraid we would loose the kite. But we didn’t.
Dad signed us up for a shipment from Bill Nye, The Science Guy, through Quarterly.
You never know what you are going to get. The box had a cool letter from Bill.
The kit also had some really fun experiments and even a signed page of one of his scripts from his tv show! Some of the boxes contained a bow-tie, sadly ours did not. We plan to have lots of fun with science when we tackle our kit soon.
