Snow Day!

After a disappointment of no ice pile at the sking rink today, Daddy made SNOW for emmerson and I to play in.

I got on my winter garden gloves and gathered some animal toys and had a “show” during Emmerson’s nap.

What a fun special treat!

By the time Emmerson woke up the snow was melting so we decided to eat it! 🙂

IKEA-trastrophy

Miss Stacie picked up Mommy, Emmerson and me at 9am and we headed to Ikea in Tampa. Well, we got there at 9:45 and apparently they don;t open until 11 on the weekdays. So what are we to do with 4 kids and two adults in an empty parking lot.

Sideway chalk of course!

Woops, maybe next time we check the hours first!

DSCN2336

We drew all over!

The babies kept stealing and throwing the chalk and breaking it!

Madi drew a neat boat.

Emmerson and MJV shared very well. Then everyone was done with chalk.

Time for a BALL!

We played outside until 10:30 and then went and hung out inside. Madi and I went to the kids play area at 11am for an hour while Mommy and Miss Stacie took the babies shopping. Apparently Emmerson and Michael took turns being grumpy. Nothing much was accomplished but it was still fun! Madi and I were excellent and enjoyed sitting in the way back seat together and watching a few Leap Frog movies.

Ellenton with My Gal-Pal

We went to the outlet mall at Ellenton today. Miss Stacie drove. It was fun with Maid, Myself, Michael (MJV), Emmerson, Miss Stacie and Mommy! What a crowd! 🙂 We all did reasonably well. Madi and I held hands and danced down the sidewalk.

A few minutes later somehow Madi was soaking wet climbing out of a fountain. I admitted to pushing her in but only after she taunted me with “YOU WON’T PUSH ME IN!!!” So of course, I had to do it! I just had to!!!!

Let’s Go BOWLING!

We decided to go bowling today! This is a first for me and Emmerson. It is pretty high tech and kid friendly. It is nice that the bowling alley doesn’t stink like smoke like Mommy said they used to. They even have a cool ramp I could put a ball on and roll it down. PLUS, there were bumpers in the gutters! So no gutter balls for ME! 🙂

Ready for my first ball…

There it goes…

DSC_0047

WOW! That was FUN!

DSC_0048

I LOVED loading and pushing the ball down the ramp!

DSC_0062

Mommy had to help hold the ramp steady because I suddenly wanted to push really hard!

Starting to get tired half way through the second game…

DSC_0077

It was kinda fun to play this way too!

I really enjoyed myself… but next time… maybe just ONE game.
