Today was my first ever gymnastics recital. I was very scared because normally it is just me and a few friends in class. There were a LOT of kids and chaos here today.
We had to sit with our group and wait for the recital to begin. It was called “Medieval Times”!
I had a VERy hard time sitting still. I wanted to be moving and playing.
I needed a teacher constantly holding my hand or I was prone to wander.
I did well sitting still if I was waiting for my turn but once I went, I was goofy.
Jumping down the tumble track!
Jump, Jump, jump FREEZE on the big tramploine
Swinging on the high bar.
Pulling my feet up to a straddle on the bar. I just learned this last week!
Kicking over the bar, with a little help!
Pushing up on the bar.
What next??
Balance beam pro!
Through the ring of fire.
Forward tumble.
Backwards tumble.
Here I go! COOKIE HANDS!
Doing a table.
Being told I should have done a bridge… what’s a bridge? That is a 4 year old skill and I am in the 3 year old class silly people!
Receiving all my medals!
I was being goofy as usual.
There were a lot of medals! FOUR in all!
GO ME!
Now… RUN RUN RUN… I am DONE!
