We made cupcakes at T.A.S. today. I really liked it. But, I told Mommy: “We made cupcakes but I didn’t get any. They said they are for Shabbat. I think Shabbat should share.”
Mommy and Daddy chuckled and tried to explain how Shabbat is a Jewish day of the week. They gave up with “how days start at sundown (versus the arbitrary midnight!)” and how Shabbat “starts sundown Friday and ends shortly after sundown Saturday.” They said “for now, think of Shabbat as the same thing as Friday.”
Anyway, I still think Shabbat should share!
