Disney, Bubbles, Cupcakes and Hiding Out

We went to EPCOT the other day and I had a blast playing with the playgrounds for the Flower & Garden Festival.

Happiness…

Grandma Jo showing me all the plants…

They do a lady bug release a few times a day and I just HAD to get in on that! This crazy lady came out and handed us all boxes with ladybugs inside to let go.

DSC_0483

The ladybugs wigged me out at first but after I let a few boxes go I was okay with them.

DSC_0425

I even let one walk on my hand… Note the blue pen all over my arm… I colored myself!

DSC_0415

I liked hiding and ringing the bell on the black pole.

DSC_0626

This grass had ladybugs in it too.

DSC_0640

I wasn’t in the mood, after waiting for nearly 30 minutes, to see the characters. So I let Emmerson go without me and I just sat and giggled.

DSC_0730

Afterwards I took all my stickers from the ladybug release and put them all over Emmerson! 🙂 I felt he needed stickers!

We also did a craft project at a “sensory gardening” seminar. We made a satchel to put in the bath water to make it smell pretty.

Sunday night Mommy and I hung out in the back-yard for a while. For Easter, Grandma Susie gave me a neat bubble stick. Mommy helped make HUGE bubbles!

DSC_0814

I liked to chase them and run from them.

DSC_0853

Eventually, I just relaxed in the grass and let the bubbles come to me.

DSC_0867

Then I tried to eat them!

DSC_0873

After dinner I helped Daddy make cupcakes! I got to lick the bowl.

And to leave you on more of my cuteness. The other day I was SUPPOSED to be taking a nap and was making a lot of noise in my room. Mommy came in to check on me and couldn’t find me. She was starting to panic and then I giggled… This is where I was hiding.

Easter Events Update

With my lovely illness Mommy found it hard to help me update my blog with all the fun Easter things we did. So here goes a BIG Easter type post.

A few weeks back we went to the Safety Harbor Easter Eggstravaganza. It was WAY cool!

There were zillions of eggs…

DSC_9850

Mommy explained how it all worked as I listened.

DSC_0507

I was READY to go…

DSC_0544

But we had to wait…

DSC_0514

Now… GO!!!!

DSC_0546

I ran ALL The way across the field… past HUNDREDS of eggs… to pick-up my first egg.

DSC_9854

Then I ran back to the other side to get egg #2. Mommy finally convinced me, after a few ping-pongs around the field, to just sit and get the eggs by me.

DSC_0552

Then we checked out my loot.

DSC_9879

I got lots of neat little prizes!

DSC_0578

Before the egg-hunt we played at the playground for a bit.

DSC_9739

Mommy chased me…

DSC_9788

She finally caught me…

DSC_9794

Then I chased her…

DSC_9826

I spun Mommy until she was really dizzy.

DSC_9786

Then she chased me all over the bleachers.

DSC_9847

The night before Easter we colored eggs for the Easter Bunny.

DSC_9906

This is best done on towels and in a diaper so you don’t get too much stain on you or the house.

DSC_9909

I had a LOT of fun!

DSC_9924

The egg-dipper didn’t work too well so I just opted for the “stick the hands right in the glasses” approach.

DSC_9932

It took 3 days for all the dye to wear off.

DSC_9961

On Easter proper we went to Uncle Harry and Aunt Kay’s house. We had a little egg-hunt in their back yard.

DSC_0081

I had a fun time finding eggs.

DSC_0084

I got excited running all around.

DSC_0111

Mommy helped me find some of the hard ones.

DSC_0115

That one was stuck to the WALL!

DSC_0130

After he hunted I checked out my loot again. I insisted that “I need to put that candy in my mouth!”
