We spent Easter weekend at Grandma and Grandpa’s house in Venice. We enjoyed several days of just relaxing.
Group iPad time!
We spent a LOT of time in their heated pool.
And the hot tub!
And running and jumping and splashing into the pool!
More iPad time and relaxing.
On Easter we helped Grandma make the traditional bunny cake. Dad suggested some changes this year and they bunny now has toasted coconut!
We dyed eggs.
They weren’t really eggs. They were fake eggs grandma found. They were neat because we can keep them after Easter.
I had a fun time drawing on the eggs too.
Hoppy Easter to all!
“Mom, is there tech support for typewriters?”
Mom to the rescue to reset the margins and unjam the stuck keys.
Our entire club gathered today at the park to launch rockets. Everyone was so creative with their decorating!
Mom helped everyone run the launch pads. Cousin Zac had a successful launch. In fact, everyone did! One rocket blew up. Only one got stuck in a tree, of course it was MINE! UGH! Oh well! I will make more rockets.
We even got our new 4-H agent to launch a rocket!
This is the 4th year Mom has organized a homeschool flashlight egg hunt. We had over 75 kids this year for the egg hunt. We had a fantastic time.
Everyone had a lot of fun nd behaved amazingly. I love that all my friends are so kind. We had an accidental false start and Mom managed to get all the kids back to restart based on ages. It all worked out great and everyone was happy.
Mom is already busy working on next years event.
While Mom washed the motorhome and detailed the inside, E and I worked on a little school. I am trying to get ahead in my Fish and Scales book for 4H since I will miss a few meetings at the start of the next year. I am really enjoying learning more about fish.
I am working on a camouflage fish project. We had to cut out and color different fish to blend in to the fabric squares.
I put a lot of time into coloring my fish. I think it came out great!
Mom and Dad finished up the motorhome. She is waxed, cleaned and sparkling!
