We made it to Stone Mountain in time for the fireworks and later show on the mountain. Daddy reserved us terrace level seats so we didn’t have to rush.

We had lots of time to run around the field and play with the kendama before the show started.

I loved the show and all the fireworks and funny laser designs they made.

Not so trilled with a little girl that keep screaming on the gondola ride to the top of the rock.

Finally got away from her and I really enjoyed the view.

I liked pearing on the highest rocks. Don’t worry, I didn’t fall off the mountain.

We enjoyed the train around the mountain once we got down.

I loved the glass blowers! Too bad he dropped the piece and shattered it.

I had a blast and did the 2nd highest course.

We played in the pool until we got so cold we had to get out.

We ordered pizza from the hotel room and relaxed with some tv. Home tomorrow!

We were up super early and out the door. I got to ride up front the entire trip home.

We stopped at the model of the parthenon in Nashville. I was really shocked to see how big it really was outside and inside.

I loved the statue of Athena inside.

The door shocked me. I had no idea someone could make doors so large!

I was able to tell most of the story on Athena’s shield.

Afterwards we headed to the Pfunky Griddle to meet some friends that moved to Nashville a few years ago. We ate at a place you can make your own pancakes!

We played outside with our new kendamas and then hit the road.

As with the last few years we had to make a trip to the City Museum when we were in St. Louis. We had a great time and the crowds were very light.

I climbed to every high point I could find.

We had a blast in the caves.

I found new places to hide and slide.

The skate park was a hit again.

I made it up the medium wall finally.

We had a great time as usual and left so exhausted we didn’t want to even go swimming when we got back to the hotel. Tomorrow we head to Nashville and then on to Atlanta and then home.

We enjoyed a trip through Lone Elk Park. This time we saw BOTH elk and buffalo! This is a baby elk.

A lot were down in the pond.

The buffalo were right next to the road. Last year we never saw them!

After our drive through the park we stopped at a grocery store for some hotel snacks. They had a game where you find their hidden fox and you get a prize.

After hunting for 30 minutes we found him and won a little bag of candy.

The Magic House is one of our favorite places to visit in St. Louis. They were celebrating their 35th year!

The traveling exhibit was all science based.

I still love the tubes of air. Mom was laughing so hard at this kid that kept tripping his father.

We played in the gravel pits.

My favorite is still the big blue tinker-toys.

The bubble room wasn’t too crowded for once!
