Happy birthday to me! Birthday donuts for breakfast!
A long hot walk through downtown when all the shops are closed and we are all hot and miserable.
I enjoyed the fancy buildings.
Mom liked all the color.
She threatened to leave me here at the school for the day.
Even the beach was deserted.

Back to the ship for lunch before our afternoon excursion.
We crossed the border not he island from the French to the Dutch sides.
I was amazed how but the mountains were on this smaller island.
The water was so blue.
We went on a semi submerged boat to see the reefs and fish. A diver went in the water and baited the fish so they would swim close to the porthole windows.
We even saw live sea turtles swimming around.
I am having a great birthday!
Beware of the mosquitos.
Back to the ship and saying goodbye to land before heading towards St. Thomas.
