Today we went to a science day down in St. Petersburg. There were all kids of fun science and marine activities.
I learned how they take soil samples.
I got to pet a baby alligator and a baby caiman.
They even let me hold the baby caiman.
There were a ton of activities for kids to do.
Daddy and I worked hard, very hard, to start a fire. It was really windy and the sparks were going the wrong way. We eventually got it going! We tried with a battery and steel wool but couldn’t make that work.
Fish painting!
They had a huge pool with little underwater submarines you could drive. It took a lot of practice to get the controls figured out but once I did, I had a BLAST!
I loved all the animals and sea life. I could have stayed for hours playing with the whelks.
