We had a great time today hanging out at Great Explorations. I loved using the pulleys to lift myself up high in the air.

I think I could have LIVED in the vets office. I love taking care of animals.

After all the hard work in the vet office I needed to go grocery shopping.

I bought a LOT of fruit and meat. Emmerson only bought cat food and ice cream.

I think I may have a career playing the harp. It was stringless. Mommy was shocked that I walked right up and looked natural playing the harp!

It was st. Pattys day so we were all wearing green. Not a good color choice for green screen!

Our bodies disappeared. I found this oddly hilarious.

I needed a quick x-ray.

When we were all done playing we walked over to the botanical gardens at Sunken Gardens. I found LOTS of caterpillars.

Mommy told me to look closer and I found about 30 chrysalis.

We only found one butterfly. I was so happy to see nearly every stage of the lifecycle of a monarch!

One of the many joys of homeschooling! The weather was amazing today, so we went to the sprayground for some splashing fun. It was a bit windy. My buddy, Aran, met us there for some fun in the sun.

Emmerson and I had a fin time playing around while waiting for Aran to arrive.

there were no other kids in the sprayground so we could do whatever we wanted and didn’t have to worry about trampling the little kids!

All I wanted to do was to play with the shower! All the expensive and fancy water spouts and I am still more fascinated with the stinking shower!

We had a great time showing Grandma Susie around Lowry Park Zoo today. We love having her visit and can’t wait to get back to Ohio soon to visit her!

A bat flew down and picked us up for nap time!

I rode the roller coaster AGAIN! This time only 12 times!

I opted to play in the fountains rather than try to break my coaster record from a few weeks back!

Once again the zoo was empty so we pretty much had the run of the place.

I am really going to miss Grandma Susie when she leaves tomorrow.

We went to Howard Park with Grandma Susie today. Sadly, no pictures were taken. I had a wonderful time playing in the shallow water and trying to catch all sorts of creatures. At the end of our stay I had:

-a half a bucket full of jellyfish eggs

-3 minnows donated from a nice young man

-2 tiny hermit crabs

-1 super tiny fiddler crab

-a scrawled cowfish

and a SEAHORSE!

Only “I” can catch a seahorse at the beach! I thought it was a caterpillar but turns out it wasn’t! Everyone kept calling me “King of the Beach!”

We went with a homeschool group to the Oldsmar fire station to see how things work. We got to tour all the rooms in the firehouse.

We watched a video about fire safety.

We learned what to do in case of emergencies.

They took us into a smoke trailer and showed us what a smoke alarm sounded like and then real smoke (okay fake smoke) filed the back bedroom and we had to crawl out.

Everyone got to play on the firetrucks.

We all had a great time!
