What a great way to end the summer! The firemen showed up and hooked up a hose and we got to play in the water.

The field started to get a bit muddy.

But we all just kept playing.

If you got too close to the end of the fire hose the water really hurt!

Such joy!

I kept trying to back in as far as I could take the pain.

Soon the fire truck got called away for a medical call.

Hmmm, what do we do now?

Look a hole in the ground! It is filled with mud. Let’s see how many kids we can get in the hole.

Gee I hope the fire truck returns soon because there is NO WAY Mommy will let us in the car like this!!!

After 30 minutes it came back and we all got sprayed off and headed home. What FUN!

Tonight was the annual 4H awards banquet. After a long day with school, Ikea and now this I was exhausted.

Eventually out club was called up and I received my one year pin and a cool certificate for completing all of the requirements for a Clover Award!

My raffle ticket was picked and I also brought home a nifty zen garden! I played with it all night at the banquet. At last it kept me calm and awake.

Tonight we went to Ikea for a crawfish boil. Emmerson and I had a great time running around the store and trying out all the furniture.

We were first in line to redeem our advance tickets for the festival. We ate and ate and ate until we were stuffed.

I love crawfish!!!! I had about 30-40 of them! Just the tails though. They were boiled in butter and dill and served cold. Super yummy.

We had a great time bowling with Mommy today. I actually managed to knock a few pins down!

Mommy taught me to roll the ball the right way. I tried a few times but then went back to a great big push. The ball was a bit to heavy for my fingers.
