Ice Cream, Cold Weather, and My Pal Ethan

Ethan came over again on Thursday to hang out for a while. Daddy bought us both ice cream from the ice cream truck. MMMM… pushpops! I have never had an ice cream I could hold myself. I was very timid…

Ethan dove right into the sugar high

Mommy and Mrs. Jamie (Ethan’s Mommy) decided sandboxes and ice cream don’t mix well…a bit too gritty.

It was chilly out so we had to keep moving while eating…

And moving some more…

We both had a quick bath afterwards because we were VERY sticky!

Then I taught Ethan how to hold a ball without using your hands.

He caught on quickly… (green ball)

Ethan got mad because I wouldn’t share a toy…

I enjoy playing with my pal and Mommy enjoys having a friend over too!

Fun FIlled Weekend

This week I hung out with Mr. Todd again. He is cool! He played “stickers” with me! He even brought me a box of crayons from the White House! With colors like “Presidential Seal Gold” and “Monument Grey”. ThANKS! Wicked cool!

Friday afternoon Mommy & Daddy took me to meet Ethan and his mommy, Jamie, at the new playground at the Dunedin Recreation center. It was VERY cool. We had a wonderful time laying on our tummies under the jungle-gym walkway with a few older (12 years) girls. They caught on to our crazy flirting and just giggled at us. Ethan was trying to teach me some “moves” for the ladies! 🙂 He is quite a flirt too! Soon it was time to say bye-bye to Ethan and head to din-din. I went to give him a hug and somehow we did a flying roll in the air and I ended up checked into the rail of the jungle-gym and then flat on my back on the ground with Ethan on top of me. UGH! I was upset because it just wasn’t “cool” for the ladies to see that! Mommy & Daddy whisked me away to din-din at Macaroni Grill with Grandma Jo and Grandpa Howie. I ate an entire bowl of vanilla ice cream and then had a few bites of EVERYONEs Italian Ice too! Sugar high is an understatement!

Yesterday (Saturday) Mommy, Daddy and I went to Oldsmar Flea Market to look for some “UGLY” luggage. We are starting to get things in order for our Mediterranean cruise in a few months. Mommy and Daddy had no luck at Oldsmar Flea so we drove down to Wagon Wheel in Largo. WOW, that place was CROWDED! But after beating through the masses of people Mommy and Daddy found some UGLY luggage! One suitcase is red and white hawaiian print and the other is purple and white print with neon yellow turtles on it! WOW! U-G-L-Y that luggage has no alibi…it’s UGLY!

I opted for the NO NAP kinda day and was tuckered out by the end of the day. I also got to pick up my choo-choo train from Grandma Susie’s house so that I could play with it more. I enjoy playing with the alphabet train. Mommy said I need to nap because I am a challenge when I do not!

Today (Sunday) Grandma Susie came over for lunch and we all played in the back yard. I got to play with my new (old) bubble maker and DIG in the sand. I like to “dig”! I INSIST that we “dig” on a daily basis now that I can finally play in my backyard.

Oh yeah, I also got my pee-pee in the potty this morning! 🙂 YIPPIE! Mommy said she will work harder at it now that I am showing understanding and interest again.

Mommy is MAD

Today I have been, well, a PILL! I know it is just the fact that my nose is drippy and I am cutting tooth #11! It is cold out so Mommy and Daddy said I shouldn’t be running around outside if I already don’t feel the greatest. Mommy just needed to get out of the house so we took a trip to the grocery store for ingredients for dindin! 🙂 Which to me just means I get to ride in the “car” cart at Publix and get a FREE sugar cookie! 🙂 YUMMIE! No more balloons because apparently the MRI machines in the world are causing a helium shortage so the grocery store doesn’t give free balloons anymore. BUMMER!

Well, it was only a few minutes before noon and the rotisserie chickens at Publix (Sunset and 19) were dated and time stamped “good from 9am til 12. Mommy decided to get my cookie and then go see if new chickens were put out yet. She saw the deli lady reach into the case and pull out the old chickens….THEN…change the time on them with a big black marker and put them back into the case! HOLY NOOOOOOOO! Mommy said something and the lady pretty much ignored her so Mommy went and found the deli-manager. Mommy complained and then came home (without the chicken she needed) and called the FDA, Florida Dept. of Health, Publix Headquaters and angrily complained to Daddy!

As for me… I fell asleep in the shopping cart while eating my cookie. I heard Mommy being angry and frustrated. Food safety is something we are very careful of in our household and what we buy in the stores. It is MY safety, so I like Mom and Dad looking out for it! Anyway, Mommy got me successfully transfered to the car seat and then to the crib at home… I am really worn out!
