PAR-TAY!

I think all I did yesterday was party party party! 🙂 We got up early and drove to Spencer’s house for his birthday party, he turned 2! Mommy made him some “Thomas the Tank” overalls. He enjoyed them.

But now I want a pair… Mommy made me generic train ones but that was before I started to understand who Thomas was! 🙂

I played in the big back yard… I was afraid to go into the big bouncy castle

but I really enjoyed the play house…

I liked answering the door and sweeping the floors.

We got in the car and drove to Grandma Jo and Grandpa Howie’s place for a St. Pattys Day lunch. Not really for the holiday but my Uncle Bronson was down from Ohio. I refused to share my grapes with him… but I think (hope) he got over it!

I showed Grandpa Howie how to use my See-And-Say.

I also enjoyed my cup of marshmellows and pretzel sticks! I had some real food too, don’t worry!

I only spilled it a few times but Grandma Jo got me the vacuum and I cleaned it all up!

I was tuckered out by 8pm and went right to bed.
Maybe it was all the spinning and falling down I did!

Today I got up really early and Mommy & Daddy brought me into their room. I tried to fall back asleep but Hunter kept whining… MEEEEOOOOOOOOW! MmmMMMEeeeeeOooooOOOwWWWW! Silly kitty!

Today Mommy & Daddy let me watch Boooos(Blue’s Clues) on tv. I don’t know what to think of it yet… but it had a puppy so I am happy.

Off to nap now… more later I am sure! 🙂

Popcorn anyone??

Mommy made microwave popcorn tonight. I sadly didn’t get any as it was my bedtime. But Mommy is VERY happy to have a microwave for the first time in 5+ months!!! Thanks to Daddy and his awesome electrical and mechanical ways… he got the new nuker all hooked up and running! YIPPIE! I can have carrots again without Mommy going through the rig-a-ma-roll of boiling water and all that jazz. I can’t wait to dig into veggies next week once the kitchen is all done! 🙂 WOO HOO!

New home…

Well, not really! Mommy and Daddy have finally allowed me to pass through the thresh hold to the forbidden zone known as the kitchen. Today I got to explore…

I really liked the sink basin the best.

The ceiling is all raised and the cabinets are all in.

The granite should be here and installed on Monday!

Lumpy even liked hiding with me!

The sink basin has a flip out sponge drawer… really fun to play with.

I enjoyed playing with a huge stack of sponges…. Daddy kept wondering where they were coming from! (Where’s Breighton??)

Here I am!!!

Okay, I am bored… gotta find something else to do.

In other Breighton news:
At 4:30 i walked into Mommy & Daddy’s room and pointed at the clock and said “GEORGE!” I apparently have figured out how to tell time! Or it was just a fluke. At 4:30 Curious George is on PBS. Mommy has only let me watch it a few times. I really like reading the books but the cartoon is neat too. Mainly because I read the stories with Mommy all the time and then to see them in cartoon form is kinda cool. Point is… I knew it was 4:30 and time for George!

Tonight I had Karina babysit me so Mommy and Daddy could run some house errands. They got all the appliances picked out and ordered. They will be delivered tomorrow! YIPPIE!!! Mommy can make microwave popcorn for the first time since before Christmas when the old nuker broke.!

I behaved really well, except I didn’t want to go night night I kept calling for Mommy! I love my Mommy & Daddy!

Fun but long day…

Today started VERY early for me. Up before the sun and Mommy tried to get me to stop turning on my light (by moving my crib off of the wall). She gave up after a few minutes and I was up for the day. Daddy took me on a wagon ride to the park at the end of the street. I showed Daddy how to put pineneedles into holes. Daddy found it cute that I raise my arms in the air and say “TADA!” whenever I do something I think is cool.

When we got back Mommy was all dressed and whisked me into the car and we picked up Grandma Susie and went to breakfast at CrackerBarrel then we drove to Howie-In-The-Hills for a surprise birthday lunch for my Great Uncle John (Mommy’s Uncle John). It was loads of fun, especially since a lot of my extended cousins were there too! Nick, Spencer and I shared and played with our Thomas trains. We all shared very well… for the most part. Spencer and I enjoyed washing the trains in a HUGE fountainand SPLASHING TOO! Mommy wasn’t impressed that i was SOAKING wet, secretly I think she was!

Spencer turns two this week… he is the one in the dark blue shirt. Nick, who is 3, is in the red striped shirt.
They are both Mommy’s Cousin Wendy’s kids.

I survived a LONG lunch and stayed in my highchair for nearly 2 hours! WOW! I should get an award for that! I even ate my veggies! I guess I was hungry today.

I got a bit scared by Mommy’s Cousin Kathie. I was just tired…

Afterwards we drove home and picked up Daddy and went out to Mexican. (We hope the kitchen is up and going soon…we are ALL tired of eating out!) I ate rice! I decided this week that I like rice. Mommy and Daddy are just happy that I am actually eating something other than applesauce and yogurt for a change. On the way home we stopped at the fair/carnival that is set up at Countryside Mall. Mommy and Daddy played a few games and won me a stuffed dog, a pig that oinks and a blowup dolphin. I really liked hugging the puppy dog.

I am completely exhausted as I only took a short 30 min nap in the car at 10am so I am off to bed now.

Don’t forget to change your clocks tonight. Mommy is hoping for 8am wake-up or later.

Nighty night all.

Mommy lost me!

Hehe, well not really. Today I awoke from my nap a bit early and Mommy & Daddy never came to get me (they say it was because I never called for them). So, I opted to escape from my room! I managed to open my door and was in laying on Mommy & Daddy’s bed with a bunch of my Lumpys. Well, Mommy didn’t know I had played Houdini. She was in the bathroom washing paint off of her feet and noticed my door was open… then she went searching. What a crazy kid I am. Now there is this THING over my doorknob. I just can’t seem to open it anymore. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted! Tomorrow I try to conquer that THING on my doorknob! 🙂

Today I got new pajamas… Little Einsteins! 🙂 Way cool! I also got a Little Einsteins raincoat and umbrella. I took the umbrella everywhere today! I really like it. I also played with my “E-I-E-I-O” (farmhouse with animals… I like the Old McDonald song). I misplaced the cow and Mommy found it for me then i wanted the YAK! Mommy dug for a while and finally found a YAK for me to play with… I am a goof sometimes! 🙂

Another example of the goofiness I provide in Mommy’s day: We were at Gymboree free play today and I kept saying “wobby” “wobby” “water wobby”. It took Mommy a few minutes to process that I wanted to go into the “LOBBY” and have “water”. Ahhhh, the light-bulb turned on! 🙂

Sometimes I can be a pill but then I provide Mommy & Daddy with giggles and smiles and they forget that I was biting and hitting all day!

Such a good boy am I.
