Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park

We took an afternoon drive to Homosassa Springs today to go on an animal adventure.

We started with a boat ride into the park.

They have a hippo that got to stay when the park was converted to being run by the state.

There were a lot of alligator!

We loved watching the staff member feed the birds.

This Woodstork was fearless!

We had a wonderful time exploring and saw manatees, fox, bears and much more!

Ice Skating

Today the coach said I was making improvements in not only my skating but my focus! Sure I had my drama filled moments but they were way less than normal. I am desperately trying to learn how to hop, jump and spin. My body is starting to work with me when I follow all the steps. The other kids in my class are very helpful and supportive.

I am excited to take 5 more weeks of skating!

4H NYSD and NNO

Today was a busy 4ah day for us. It started with our regular club meeting and National Youth Science Day Rockets to the Rescue.

We had to land a rocket and payload in an island that was damaged by a storm. I worked with my pal Lily and we did a great job designing and launching!

Up next was National Night Out and more rocket launching fun. I felt the snack foods were more important and the fact that Mom let me have a 7-up kept me interested!

it started pouring and all of our stuff got soaked! We kids hid under the table and got filthy from the parking lot ick. Mom cleaned us up a bit at the end of our shift and then Daddy walked around with is and then took us home while Mom stayed until later.
