Since we are leaving for Asheville after Christmas we opted to do a small Christmas a little early so we had time to play with our new toys.

Santa hasn’t come yet but we were excited to open some gifts.

Waiting is SO hard…

I got some new Monster High Dolls. I like to collect the boys especially.

I got lots of Lego sets.

E and I also got a new Wii U and some games as well.

Today we met at Wall Springs Park to clean the mangroves. We climbed all through the mangroves and filled lots of bags of trash.

We ended up with 6 huge trash bags full of garbage!

We walked out to the old tower that someone accidentally burnt down. We were all sad because this was one of our favorite towers to look out over the area from. You usually could find a flock of spoonbills or flamingos flapping around front he top.

This is the logo Mom helped me design. I told her I wanted it to be green and black and be made of trees.

We traveled with our friends today out to Caladisi Island for some hiking and beach fun. They were awesome and their dad took his boat over to get us to the island.

Tooling along the inter coastal waters was fun.

We saw birds nesting on the channel markers.

Off on our hike. I got a splinter within the first 5 minutes of the hike.

We played on the beach and in the water. We were all soaked and cold but played on.

Some sand angels make it all better.

We spent hours building an amazing world. We hiked up and down the beach looking for treasures to add to our creation.

When we got back to the mainland we toasted marshmallows at the park with some of our friends.

We even saw Santa at 10pm!

Looks like there was some trouble in the middle of the night. The elves got taped up by the skylander and lego figures. The cat looks so innocent!

We took a trip to Weedon Island today to go hiking.

We walked over 5 miles including a hike to the top of the tower.

It was windy and chilly so we headed into the cover of the trees. We hiked the boy scout loop with all the bridges.

Someone made a mini fairy garden on the trails.

I feel so TALL!

After our hiking we stopped off for lunch at Johnny’s Italian Restaurant.

In the afternoon we had a 4H meeting and made decorations for a veterans shelter.
