We have been having such a busy time for 4-H this month. In our club we built catapults, learned about balance and so much more. I am making new friends and TRYING to stay calm during the meetings.
The Apple/Pecan Cookoff is coming up so I have been working in the kitchen to make my apple butter and trying to thing of another dish to enter as well.
Peeling peeling peeling apples.
We made helicopters in the club and learned about what made them go faster and slower.
Part of the motley crew.
Open House and Apple Pecan Cookoff snuck right up. I entered two dishes, apple butter and a apple cake. While we were waiting for judging we learned how to do some dance moves.
We had a gingerbread building contest.
We played with Legos.
I won a blue ribbon for my “Healthy Apple†dish- Maple Apple Cake. It was YUMMY. I got second place for the apple butter we entered as a family. My Apple Cake also won Best in Show! Grandma Susie came to check out the awards… she was goofy and photo bombed me! haha
I got to pick some prizes front he table for my awards.
We had 5 kids in our club enter and all five won an award! How awesome!
My pal, Aran, stopped by to say hello.
Then we wrapped up a crazy two weeks of back to back 4-H with a trip to Plaza Electronics.
We had a great time as Bob showed up the shop and inside of lots of cool electronics.
I disassembled a computer.
Not the entire club, but closer!
