I finally decided that I wanted to read the Harry Potter series. The size of the books was a bit scary but I decided I was ready. I started last weekend and today I finished book #2. I will start book #3 later today. I really want to finish them all so I can go to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios.
I can’t wait to dig into Prisioner of Azkaban!
Today we made new neon shirts and some cool painted treasure chests.
We had to go pick up our Great Explorations pass today before we travel to camp. That way Mommy and Emmerson can use the pass to get discounts at the kids museums. We stayed and played for a while.
I liked working at Publix.
I built lots of creations with the robot building toys.
I made a sculpture.
Then I changed it around a bit.
We went on a canoe adventure.
I made a plate full of healthy food choices.
We experienced Hurricane force winds!
I predicted the summers weather. Daddy.. there is a lot of bad weather coming our way!!!
Mommy, Emmerson and I were at a movie today and I saw a commercial for these ICE chamber water squirt guns, I just had to have them.
Daddy surprised us when we got home with them! How COOL!
We had a massive and very chilly water blaster fight after dinner.
Daddy had the hose for refill purposes but kept soaking us when his squirter ran low!
Great family fun!
Today I made a Whomping Willow from the Harry Potter books. I am deeply in love with the books finally. I polished off the first book in 2.5 days and am starting on book two this week.
I wanted to go outside and draw butterflies. We bought some milkweed plants at a school EarthDay celebration. Since we planted them we have had lots of monarchs in the yard.
Mr McWiz came over and we made a pizza box circuit board.
I called it “Brinestein’s Brainbuster Challenge”. You have to match the multiplication fact to the answer.
TADA!
Then we made the worlds most simple motor! We added LED lights so you could see it when it was spinning.
