Today we went to the Coast Guard station at Sand Key. I learned a lot about what the Coast Guard does and the equipment that they use.
I learned how the rope bags for rescues work.
I tried on some gear.
We got a safety lecture.
Then we waited on the dock until it was our turn to go out in the water on the new boat.
We found lots of fun things to look at to pass the time.
All geared up and ready to go for our ride.
It looked like a small boat but boy did it go fast.
Slowly starting out on the water.

We are really flying at about 30-35 knots.
Zipping around in the waters was such a fun experience.
