It doesn’t take us long to get back into the swing of things. We had a lovely day at Hammock Park playing in the mangroves. We caught a few crabs and fish. The rain came in and chased us all away.
After lunch my friend came over and since it was still raining we converted the bathroom to a science lab. We had fun mixing all sorts of potions and experiments.
After an extremely stressful drive to North Carolina, we made it! First things first, we had to go check out the lake. Mommy tried to keep up as we ran off down the paths.
We had a lot of fun up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were glad Daddy got to enjoy this trip instead of working everyday!
Sometimes we DO get along!
I am learning to climb just about everything!
I was looking for four leaf clover in the field. Sad;y, I didn’t find any.
One day I got in a BIT of trouble! “I am sorry for spitting in your face. I am so sorry. I love you mom/ It is bad. It is wasting your digestive juices. Sick, Nasty and gross”
My idea of an apology letter to Mommy.
We had a minor iPad addiction in the downtime.
We spent the 4th of July at Grandma and Granndpa’s house shooting off fireworks. The neighbors all watched from their porches.
We went of LOTS of nature hikes.
We love the trail around their neighborhood.
I found one of those “darn squirrels”.
We got new handcuffs. Mommy gave us the keys, eventually. But first we had to try to get them off without the keys!
I gave up and needed the key!
Victory!
Uncle Matt was able to visit with us this time. We had a nice time hiking with him and Cousin Anna as well.
We played in lots of rivers.
We climbed lots of rocks.
We found cool dragon trees!
We even had time for a trip to Health Adventure.
What a great summer we are having. I can’t wait to get home and see my friends!
