When Daddy is Away We Shall Play

Mom calls it education and we call it play. Daddy had to take another business trip to we had a lot of things on our agenda. We learned about pH and acids and bases.

We used cabbage powder (by the way… it is STINKY) to test a bunch of liquids around the house.

When we finished of experiments we had a blast blowing bubbles in the science tray.

Our creation grew rather quickly and soon overtook the counter and floor!

We made kale chips… which I LOVE now!

Daddy came home to our crazy antics of balloon decorating and game playing.

Then we were off as a family to another baseball game! I am really starting to love baseball.

Dunedin Blue Jays

Mommy managed to get free tickets to the Blue Jays game. You can sit wherever you want at this stadium versus BrightHouse Field where the Threshers play.

We killed time by playing with a new App of the iPhone called “Dino Dan”. Basically you aim the camera and search around and eventually a dinosaur will come into view. We had a lot of fun and the time went quickly.

It was also comic book night and people were dressed in all sorts of funny costumes.

Mommy ensures me that someday I will know who the Ghostbusters are and why I should call them.

We made it 3.5 innings into the game and it started to POUR! This has been a very wet few weeks around here.

Woodworking with Daddy

We needed a new step stool for the bathroom that didn’t take up so much room. Daddy helped us pick out wood and stain and make the step stool. He helped me with the saw and drill work. It was a fun project and I am looking forward to doing more woodworking crafts.

I wasn’t fond of sanding but it needed done. It interrupted my bug catching time.

The finished product, almost. We still have to stain it!

Sleepover at Lowry Park Zoo

I had a special treat and went to Lowry Park Zoo for a sleepover without Mom and Dad! My friend, Zachary, went with me so it wasn’t too scary. We had a great, yet exhausting, time exploring the zoo, watching animal shows, taking random photos, sleeping in the manatee underwater viewing area and waking up to feed the meerkats breakfast! Here are some of the photos I took on my journey, at least until the battery died in the camera.

We had dinner in the cafeteria. I didn’t eat much since it was pizza but Mom packed me a snack.
