We went to the Clearwater Sailing Center today for a Homeschool Sailing Event sponsored by Sailfit. We tried tying a few knots before we went out on the boats.
There were over thirty kids so we had to wait a bit to get a turn on a boat. We all had to have life vests on and were able to play around in the water.
Emmerson and I found lots of cool shells and a few crabs.
We went out on the catamaran with my friends Jamison and Curtis.
I was scared at first but then was super happy. Mr. Kurt (one of the owners) let me steer the boat. It was super fun.
After we played in a pram and the catamaran we went over to Sand Key beach and played for a long afternoon. We found huge hole and had fun playing in it. We spent a lot of time up on the rim because there were 6 other kids in the hole normally. It is a lot more sloped than the picture shows. We kept pretending it was a meteorite that took out the dinosaurs and we found tons of fossils inside. My friends like to pretend the same games we do.
