Bye Bye Jumpy

The other day I let Jumpy go back into the wild. He was an awesome frog and pet for several months. I loved him a lot. I watched him grow from a little green frog into a big fat frog! 🙂

As you can see he ate quite a few crickets in the months that i cared for him.

I will never forget all the cricket sounds in the house and in the cage. The crickets ate through the mesh and escaped one time. Jumpy was loved by all. He will now be living in Grandma Jo and Grandpa Howie’s backyard, where he was originally captured. Hopefully Jumpy meets a mate and makes a family. Next year I will be able to find LOTS of baby frogs then! YEAH! *clap clap clap*

Music With Mar

Despite the sad look on my face in the below photo, I have really been enjoying going to the Music With Mar classes this summer. I sing a lot of the songs in the car or randomly throughout the day. I love to be silly and make up my own songs too. In the picture is Me, Miss Stacie and my friend Madison (Madi). We have been hanging out a lot this summer.

Dunedin Sprayground!

Tonight Mommy took Emmerson and I to the NEW sprayground in Dunedin. It puts all the other sprayground to shame. It is TOTALLY fenced in with childproof gates, so I cant escape! There are picnic pavilions outside of the water area as well as a playground (dry land one). There is plenty of shade and plenty of room even on a crowded day. Best of all… it is FREE!

There are tons of water features. Lots of water spraying everywhere. Plan to get wet if you come! Mommies and Daddies too!

I really enjoyed the water cannons.

So much to do!

Even the adults were out there.

This little slide with a padded landing was awesome. i did ti again and again and again and again a thousand times.

It even had a Lightning Detector. Please remember though, thunder precedes most lightning. If you can hear thunder, the storm is close enough to strike with lightning. So get out at the first sign of THUNDER! But still cool technology.

How to drive Mommy crazy…

So, the whole trip home from Ohio I’ve been a trooper in the car. Until the past few hours. Now that we’re just minutes from home and E and I have been crying off and on over, well, silly things, I came up with a great idea.

I look at Emmerson and say: “Let’s BOTH cry!”

Judging by Mommy’s reaction I can really drive her crazy. I have to remember that phrase!

Happy 4th of July!

I spent my 4th of July making a tree invention. Someday it will grow into a super big tree and keep the squirrels away. Those are the DARN squirrels for those of you keeping track here!

I tried SO hard to stay up for fireworks but I was just tuckered out. I saw a few more lightning bugs but didn’t catch any.
