More Fun In The Yard

After a LONG nights sleep we were up and ready to go. Mommy got out the wading pool for Emmerson and I just HAD to be in with him.

The neighbors have a slip-and-sldie and invited me over to play. I had never down this before and wasn’t quite sure about all the mechanics.

Run run run…

Sit down, lay on my belly and comando crawl? that just doesn’t seem right.

Try again. Same result.

Finally Paige opted for the “Push Brieghton” route. Much more effective!

I had a lot of fun with my Ohio girlfriends.

Soon, the pushing became a piggy back ride. I am such a ladies man!

Nomakee helped me wash the car. Kind of?!

Soaking wet and having a grand time in Ohio!

Ohio June 2009 :)

We arrived safely in Ohio after two days in the car. I was so excited to go look for MIss Sue things!

My first find was s daddy-long-legs.

Grandma Susie showed me that if I sprayed water on the bushes the daddy-long-legs would all crawl out. HOW COOL!

I took plenty of time to enjoy the soft Ohio grass. Look how pretty. We just don’t have grass this nice.

I was up at 6:00 the next day and outside by 6:30 playing in the grass. Trying to absorb the softness.

Everyone else woke up a bit later and joined me on the porch for some enjoying of the cooler weather.

I caught a few more daddy-long-legs and pillbugs. Do you like my fashion statement? Underoos, rain boots and gloves! 🙂

I spent a large portion of the morning trying to trap a chipmunk. I shoved sticks down all of their holes and tried to use my little cage to capture them.

After no luck with that, I moved on to trying to trap deer. How do you trap deer you ask?? well, you make them “deer soup” of course!

A few crab apples, some water, grass, a leaf of two, a few sticks and whatever else you want to throw in and then mash it all together with a HUGE stick.

And you have DEER SOUP! I left it outside that night and it was tipped over and gone the next day, but no deer! 🙁 BUMMER!

On The Road To Ohio

I asked Mommy for “spaghetti to color my shoes”. She said “Huh?” looked up and I was sound asleep in the car.

Nearing the end of the first day of travels we got stuck in a parking lot on the interstate. This was why. Woopsie!

Great Explorations for Zachary’s Birthday

We went to Zachary’s forth birthday today at Great Explorations. I had a fun time playing in the vet office.

We caught a live animal show on the stage.

They had a bearded dragon.

I watched very intently. I am really into this stuff!

A tarantula!

The lady brought out a scorpion, and it stung her!

Cool!

I played in the pretend Publix store. I even put on the green Publix shirt! 🙂

Daddy and I built a race car and Mommy tried to help make it go.

Very neat! 🙂

Daddy fixed the engineering issues and it started to go, finally!

I pulled the rope and made a tennis ball shoot 20 feet in the air! 🙂

What a fun place to have a birthday party. Happy birthday Z! 4 is AWESOME!

YMCA Kids Fishing Tournament At Wall Springs Park

Today we had a VERY long day. We started the HOT morning out at Wall Springs Park for the YMCA Kids Fishing Challenge. We got there a little early so Mommy tried to teach me how to fish, as I have NEVER done this before. I have a toy Spiderman fishing pole but I only fish from my bed.

This was an amazing deal to enter this tournament. It was only $15 and it included a fishing pole (to keep), Tackle box (to keep), t-shirt, lunch, games and other activities. As you can see in the photos the pole is REALLY nice!

After the first cast…

Mommy taught me about all of the parts of the fishing pole. In one ear… out the other!

I just wanted to reel it in. Luckily, after a few tries we caught a FISH!

I reeled and reeled. This fish was HUGE, it was hard to land!

See, HUGE! Mommy it is HUGE!

I didn’t quite know what to think of the fish.

I guess I am happy about it. Cool, it is moving all over the place.

Asking Mommy if I can keep it as a pet! Mommy said NO! 🙁 Bummer!

Soon the real tournament started. They had three categories. First caught, biggest fish and smallest fish. In my fishing slot on the pier we were on I caught the BIGGEST one! We don’t know yet if I won the overall time slot because we left early.
