Playdate with My Friend Madi

Madi came over the other day and spent the entire day.

We went to Planet Jump and raced each other through the obstacle course.

I had a blast on the big slides.

DSCN1771

Emmerson preferred to play with anything other than the inflatables.

DSCN1774

Here I come!

DSCN1776

Madi catching some air!

DSCN1777

Emmerson finding yet another thing to play with that didn’t involve the inflatables.

After an awesome morning at Planet Jump we then spent the afternoon playing in the yard.

We were trying to catch bugs.

Madi used the palm fronds to make soup!

DSC_6697

I was determined to catch a butterfly!

DSC_6723

I was SO close to a beautiful monarch!

DSC_6728

Maybe this shovel can help… probably not! 🙂

Welcome Hoppy the Green Tree Frog

Cousin Ian caught me a frog on Easter. Hoppy aka Jumpy (I think I am sticking with Jumpy because he jumps really high!!!) is a really neat frog. Daddy bought a new habitat for him and he lives in out living room now.

I am so happy to have a FROG!

DSC_6669

Teaching Emmerson how to climb up and look at the frog.

DSC_6674

TaDA! Here is Jumpy! He changes color. Sometimes he is black and sometimes green! Pretty nifty!

Hoppy Easter

I had a fun Easter this year. I enjoyed coloring eggs.

DSC_6084

Grandma Jo showed me how to color on them and how the dye wouldn’t stick where I colored! Very neat!

DSC_6093

Emmerson watched be do my magic. He was so sad that he couldn’t help out.

DSC_6107

Oh…BLUE!

DSC_6133

The finished product. After they were all dry I put bug stickers all over them! 🙂

DSC_6229

I had an awesome stash of toys and goodies from Grandma Jo, Grandma Susie and Mom and Dad! 🙂

DSC_6252

We had an egg hunt in Grandma Jo and Grandma Howie’s backyard. Cousins Ian and Anna where there too!

DSC_6270

I liked hunting for the eggs much better than just picking them up in a field!

DSC_6278

Anna found her eggs rather quickly.

DSC_6283

I kept sneaking up on them like they were going to run away.

DSC_6298

I oddly found one egg 4 times before someone noticed I had a whole in my basket! WOOPS! Grandma Jo to the rescue!

DSC_6319

Shake, shake, shake… mmmmmm candy!

DSC_6323

This egg was hiding in a tree! How funny is that?

DSC_6408

Having so much fun.

DSC_6415

I think I found them all.

DSC_6525

Checking out each others stash!

DSC_6536

Afterwards we went to Uncle Harry and Aunt Kay’s house for lunch and then some splashing in the pool. Anna helped me float on a raft. I had an awesome time! 🙂

Safety Harbor Egg Hunt 2009

We went to the Safety Harbor Egg Hunt again this year. Last year it was HUGE! This year they brought it back to the local parks so it was much more scaled down.

I enjoyed a game of ring toss.

DSC_5639

I liked throwing the rings around the bunnies. But hitting them with a wooden spoon was way more fun to me! 🙂

DSC_5649

Grandma Jo drew a neat Easter bunny!

DSC_5675

I took a break on the playground while waiting for my turn to hunt.

DSC_5972

The wait was killing me!

DSC_6052

Finally it was time to GO! I held true to my hunting style. An egg here…

DSC_6056

OHHH There is the egg I want…..

DSC_6057

I walked over hundreds of eggs.

DSC_6062

Looking for the PERFECT one.

DSC_6067

Here I found a few. The boy next to me has the same size bucket and his is nearly full… mine NOT SO MUCH!

DSC_6075

I did find a special egg that won me a neat prize bag filled with toys and candy.
