We went to the Children’s Museum of the Valley today. I had a fun time looking at all the animals in the cages. This lizard was HUGE!
I pretended I was a caterpillar and sat on a mushroom for a while.
I helped entertain Emmerson in the play kitchen. There was also this neat wall of cabinets that had all sorts of tactile items inside of them.
I showed Emmerson how to paint.
I learned all about how green/blue screens work. I was practicing the news forecast!
My favorite thing there was this bucket of PVC piping. I started building…
I kept going….
And going….
A little twisty engineering was needed….
TaDa! Look I made a “Sump pump!” Okay, so I have no real clue what that is other than it pumps water in the basement. But I built this with only a few minor adjustments by Mom or Grandma Susie.
After lunch I went right outside and played until dinner. Guess what I did?
YUP, Dug for MORE worms.
My frog on the left in the pail and a bunch of worms on the right! I am truly obsessed!
More digging in the flower beds.
When the big kids got out of school I roped them all into digging for more worms!
Completely and utterly stuck on worms!
They fit nicely in this bottle for the evening. Danielle helped me find a ton more worms!
Mommy eventually made me come in and get cleaned up. I ate 3 helpings of spaghetti tonight and then enjoyed some cuddle time with Great Grandma! 🙂
Not sure what is up for tomorrow but I am sure it will involve more WORMS!
