Grandma Jo and Grandpa Howie had bid on and won a week stay at a condo on Treasure Island Beach. We went down a few days to play in the water.

We came back a few days later and the waves were MASSIVE from Hurricane Ike. We were jumping around in 8+ foot waves. One wave, while Mommy was holding me, I got a bit scared and changed how I was holding Mommy and managed to knock her glasses off just as a HUGE wave hit us. Bye bye glasses! Sorry!
I loved being at the beach but I didn’t like the heat!
